Dr. Joshua C. Pennington exemplifies a unique blend of pastoral ministry, evangelism, theological teaching, and leadership, both in the pulpit and the boardroom, of which he passionately shares with the Body of Christ. Pastor Josh became the Lead Pastor of Christpoint Church, where he encourages his congregants to engage God with their head (right thinking—Word), their heart (right affections—worship), their hands (right living—service), and their feet (right direction—mission).

Training and teaching his church and staff how to become true disciples of Christ is his heart’s desire. Pastor Josh also serves as an adjunct professor for Messenger College of the Pentecostal Church of God, where he was once a full-time professor before accepting the pastoral position at Christpoint. Prior to coming to Joplin, MO, Pastor Josh served for eight years as the Lead Pastor at New Beginnings Worship Center in Cynthiana, KY. While there, he also served as the Kentucky District Discipleship Director for the PCG. Before NBWC, he served in multiple ministry roles as associate, youth, and discipleship pastor.
